Dr. John Murray

Dr. John Murray completed both his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree and his two year post graduate Certificate in Orthodontics from Columbia University's College of Dental Medicine. He is a member of the American Association of Orthodontics, a member and past Director of the Pacific Coast Society of Orthodontics (PCSO), and a member of the Alaska State Society of Orthodontists. He is also a member of the Schulman Study Club, an elite group of orthodontists from around the country who meet, study and share ideas to improve their clinical skills and business acumen.

Dr. Murray and his wife Vivienne met in New York City, he while taking his dental boards and she while on vacation from her native Wales, United Kingdom. They traveled extensively and settled in Anchorage, Alaska, to pursue the outdoor lifestyle they both love and cherish. Vivienne and John have two wonderful children, Katherine and Alex, who share their parents' love of the outdoors. All the Murray's travel extensively for education, visiting family on the east coast and in Europe, and for pleasure. Learning about other cultures and placing oneself in new and interesting situations is all part of living to one's full potential in the Murray household. "What are we doing today!" is always the first thing out of the children's mouths every morning.
